London 2012

Over 200,000 people came together at venues around the UK to mark the moment the Games were handed over from Beijing to London. The countdown to 2012 begins.

Human enhancement

The British Embassy, in association with the Rathenau Institute, Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology, have presented a compilation of essays titled “Reshaping the Human Condition; Exploring Human Enhancement”.

Bridge to the future

British Ambassador Lyn Parker attended a commemoration in Oestgeest on 11 November. During the service the victims of the Second World War were remembered and afterwards the Ambassador gave a speech (PDF 14,7 KB), in the Groene Kerk.
